I had an Algebra II class in where I did the math and realized I only needed an 85% on all of the quizzes and test to pass with a C-grade (I ended up with a B). I eventually embraced the “slacker” role starting in middle school, being satisfied with Bs and Cs, several hour naps, minimal effort and the scorn of my teachers and professors (three time college dropout here). I found homework and reports tedious and often figured out ways to avoid doing them altogether. I didn’t get along with most kids my age either.
